Question:

Our new home is just a couple of months old and is very dry. Humidity levels range from 27-29%. We are planning to have a furnace humidifer installed.Is this the best way to help with our humidity and save our hard wood floor from damage.

Answer:

It shouldn't have any effecto on the hardwood floor but yes, a 'flo thru' humidifier would be what you're looking for.
