Question:

I am in the process of purchasing houses for my children to live in while at university I need help with building inspectors in London and Windsor Ontario
how do I find a good inspector and how much should I pay (ball park?

Answer:

There should be some form of a home inspectors' association in both cities. If there is not, local home builders' associations should be able to help. You'll find a good inspector when you find one that's been a renovations contractor for ten or more years and is no longer in the building or renovating field. Renovators get accustomed to everybody's system while builders, I find, tend to refine their own systems only in most cases. For price, you'll have to talke to these folks yourself because we all price our services differently.
