I am a first time home buyer building a new house in Gatineau Quebec. In a couple of weeks we are going for our first inspection of the houses framing. My question is what should I be looking for when doing the inspection. I want to make sure everything is done right (specially the little hidden things we dont know about). Also what are some of the things I should be asking.
Answer:
There is no way I'd be able to put ten or so years of study and thirty or so more years of experience into an answer to your question. You'll be best off to hire a building pre-purchase inspector for this.
