Question:

We have recently purchased a 7-8 year old log home in the Calabogie (ON) area and nothing has been done to seal the logs. The interior and exterior needs to be cleaned and sealed as well as the kitchen needs to be redone. The floors are plank and need to be refinished as well. We would appreciate any information on log homes and resources within the Ottawa area that could help us with our many questions.

Answer:

To seal the logs, you can get a 'water friendly' oil at your local paint store and for anything else, stay with this website or submit more questions.
