Question:

I like the idea of a thermal break. Wall studs conduct cold. Does it make sense to put ten test or a like sheeting between the wall studding and the drywall. I thinking it could cause problems with electrical boxes and window trim.

Answer:

It will also attract moisture and that is what mold is made of. I wouldn't use it.

In the interests of retaining credibility and in fairness to all, I cannot recommend prices, people nor companies for various projects.

Remember, even if you don’t do your own work around the house have to hire someone, you put yourself at a great advantage when you can intelligently discuss a project with the various trades people.
