We own a 20 year old home built into a ravine. The southeast side of the house is a double set of windows on top of each other. These windows are the size of one half of a patio door. The top of the highest row would be around 20 feet high. They are getting cloudy from condensation. Can we do anything besides drilling the holes? I know from your previous shows that you have to remove the window to do this. This is not a possibility, as you can well imagine. I have this distinct feeling we'll just have to go outside to enjoy the view until we have money to replace the windows.
Answer:
I think you'll find it far less expensive to rent scaffolding to do the ventilation number on your windows than to replace them. Even if you have to hire someone to do it for you, it might be less expensive.
