What is the best tool to use to cut panneling. The panneling is very thin and since this will be the finishing touch I want to make sure I make clean cuts without splintering. I'm currently thinking of using a jigsaw to do the cuts, is this the right tool?
Answer:
A reciprocating saw with a 'smooth cut' blade is about the best when cutting with the grain but against the grain, I've always used a metal guide and a utility knife.
