Question:

I would like to have a mail slot in our steel door. Would this be a difficult job for one to do or who should I contract to have this done?

Answer:

It is very much a DIY project because all you have to messure is a rectangular hole and then drill the corners before you join the holes with a jig saw. Put masking tape ont he metal door so you don't blow away the paint job on it.
