Top > Vents > Duct

Question:

i have a laundry room on the second floor of a two storey house and i had to clean the dryer vent out in the spring because it was clogged with lint and the dryer was not drying the clothes properly now i am having the same problem again in the fall which is a pain because i have to get a ladder and climb up and clean the vent out from the outside and i checked and there is nothing blocking the vent oustside is there anything i can do to prevent this or should be checking for?

Answer:

About all you can do is replace the duct because the present on appears to have either too many elbows or self-tapping screws holding the segments together. Either way, it will keep blocking in its present form.
