Question:

I am installing a bathroom in my basement. What is the easiest and best way to vent the bathroom vent fan out side.

Answer:

If there's a laundry room nearby, use a TY to tap into that line and you don't have to cut another holw in the rim joist or foundation wall. The laundry dryer should have rigid ductwork anyway so it shouldn't be hard to tap into.
