Top > Basement & Crawl Space > Sealant

Question:

I am finishing my basement. It is a wood basement. I have insulated it and now I am gyprocing it. I am wondering what the best way to seal the vapour barrier at the bottom. I think I am probably going to have to seal it to the floor. Any suggestions?

Answer:

A sealant that comes in a caulking compound-type tube will do it for you. It's made for that.
