I have read some of the questions and your answers relating to a subfloor in a basement with a concrete slab. It seem's you are not a big fan. As I am in the process of finishing my basement, and have given some thought to a subfloor, I'm wondering what you might consider the drawbacks to be (aside forem increased cost involved.) My main concerns for a subfloor are: 1) warmer basement 2) air gap for moisture (basement is dry, but "damp") 3) defense against a place for mold to reside.
Answer:
My concerns are much the same but I don't think it will make the basement warmer. If it ever gets soaked though, the sub-floor is the first to become toast.
