Question:

Where can I best locate instructions to finish my basement. I am looking for a list of the activities and the sequencing of same, i.e. rough wiring after studding but before drywall. Is there any such reference material?

Answer:

As far as instructions on basement finishing go, do the studs, heating changes, plumbing changes, wiring (in that order), then insulation and vapour barrier before applying drywall (horizontally for ease of taping and jointing). If you require elaboration, do not hesitate to lean on www.homehelpnet.com .
