Question:

We have a brick house that was built in the early 1900's. The back veranda was converted to a sunroom and then to a family room many years ago. The room currently sits on sona tubes We want to renovate this room: dismantle the existing room, increase the size and add a full basement. We want to develop our own plans to submit to the building department. Do you know of any site on the internet where we can download software that is user friendly.

Answer:

Try getting in touch with your on local building authority (city hall). That's about as user friendly as you'll ever get and they just might even have a site you can go to on the WWW.
