Question:

I want to finish the concrete floor in my basement. It has not been finished previously: no paint, tile, carpet, etc. What is cheapest, easiest, most lasting for a concrete basement floor: paint, tile, etc? How do I apply it?

Answer:

If you want to take the time to prepare the surface (4 steps), paint is the least expensive and easiest to apply.
