Top > Basement & Crawl Space > Frost

Question:

What method would you recommend for heating the crawl space? I was thinking about some kind of hot water floor heat, the kind where the pipes are laid right in the concrete.

Answer:

That's a great system but unless your crawl space floor is below the frost line, you might want to introduce separate heating for that area; perhaps a fan-type electrical heater.
