Question:

I purchased a house last year. The deck seems to be pretty new but it is turning green. I do not know if it is pressure treated or not. It looks like there is no stain on it. What should I do?

Answer:

The deck can be cleaned off with a biodegradable wood wash and that should also tell you what kind of wood you're dealing with.
