Top > Wood > Sub-Flooring

Question:

I have a 1940's farmhouse with a 10" air space under the kitchen. I couldn't leave airflow space in one corner when I sealed out the mice. The 'spring' in the top floorboards leads me to believe the sub-floor & maybe support beams have wet/dry rot. Is there any cement, grout, foam? that I can spray, force, pour? into that area that would delay the obvious? I'm not looking fwd to replacing the floor.

Answer:

The best laid plans of mice and men - - - - - -. If there is rot there, you will do little less than replace the floor and this time make sure all is well ventilated, insulated and sealed from vermin.
