Question:

I WOULD LIKE TO ATTACH 3/4 X 4 BIRCH KILN DRIED TO A HEATED CONCRETE FLOOR. HOME IS SLAB ON GRADE. I HAVE A FLOATING WOOD FLOOR ATTACHED ON 1X1 STRINGERS WHICH MEANS I HEAT THE CONCRETE THEN AIR THEN WOOD THEN THE ROOM.

Answer:

That's the way its done but strip hardwood, particularly a 'soft' hardwood (birch is the softest hardwood we use) may shrink drastically with that much heat that close to it.
