I just finished my deck using waterproof pressure-treated wood. I was told to wait 90 days before applying stain or whatever. I am tired of scraping decks every two year so what do you recommend I use? I used a product called end cut to seal any open cuts in the wood...does this darker green eventually blend in with the natural colour of the wood?

The system I've been using for treating wood of all kinds has been a 50/50 mixture of boiled linseed oil and varsol. This stuff is prone to spontaneous combustion so be careful with it and haul all the residue off to a chemical waste station when you're done. Don't store it at home.
