Question:

Lately we have been experiencing what we believe to be skunks digging up the front yard (althoughwe haven't seen them). I'm assuming they are looking for grubs. They are doing alot of damage. Is there something I can do or apply to the lawn to salvage it before it is completely ruined?

Answer:

Sorry about the delay. It shouldn't matter much anyway because both you and I are going to have to wait till the fall to treat the lawn so grubs do not hatch in the spring I understand. Your local nursery will able to help you with this. Skunks and other wild pets will only dig if there is profit (food or protection) int he effort. Get rid of the food and they'll go elsewhere.
