We have an oak (I think it is real wood, but not sure) table. You can't put hot items on it or it will mark. Is there anything I can safely put on the top so I don't have to use a table pad and cloth all the time? We have a family that likes to sit around the table and is too fussy to use a tablecloth all the time. I am nervous all the time about spilling etc.
