I had asked how to remove the build up of wax on an antique duncan phyfe table and you replied stating to identify the wax and then neutralizer -how can I identify the wax - it has wax on it from the last 100 years?

Answer:

A good, local furniture repair shop willb e able to tell you what kind of wax was available to your area 100 years ago. That's where you have to start.
