Question:

I've built a window seat and am ready to mount the lid. I've used 13ply Birch plywood (3/4) for strength. It's heavy and long - 55 " wide by 13" deep. What is a stronger better hinge for this: a Piano hinge or something else?

Answer:

I always use the heavy duty piano hinges for such projects and they seem to work well.
