Question:

We just had our well pump and all wires and hoses were replaced. Once back on, the water is very black with IronOxide. The plumber pulled the pump up a bit thinking that it had been re-immersed further down. He told us that it would take a few days to settle out so we should not use much water. Others have told us to let the water run until it has cleared out of the well. We have been without water for 5 days already and I would really like to know which would be best so I have clean water asap.
