REN WHAT DO YOU THINK OF USING THE ADDITIVES OF BACTERIA AND ENZYMES THAT MY SEPTIC SYSTEM PUMP COMPANY HAS RECOMMENDED TO ME. THEY SAY IT WILL HELP EXTEND THE LIFE OF MY SEPTIC SYSTEM. I've never trtied them and have not had enough positive feed-back on them to justify spending money on them. I've been dumping a package of baker's yeast down the toilet once every couple of months for years (decades in fact) and because I've had very satisfactory service from the system all this time, I'll follow the Edith Bunker principle and not fix it.
