Question:

Sometimes the ignition system doesn't work well and the furnace fails to get ignited after an idle cycle. What can we do ourselves (if we can) other than replacing the filter to sovle the problem?

Answer:

Replacing the filter won't help you in this department. A qualified technician, on the other hand, will perhaps replace the relay and keep the whole thing from blowing you to kingdom come!
