I am in the process of looking to buy a home. Many of the homes that I have come across have foundations that have settled quite significantly to such an angle that I could roll a marble from one end to the other. Can you tell me what kind of costs I would be looking at if I decided to buy such a home and fix the foundation.
Answer:
You don't want to know and if you do, you may not want the house. If the foundation has settled it can be under-pinned but that can come a cost you don't want to have much to do with.
