I have found a great pile of pink granite of all shapes and sizes, I would like to incorperate this granite in some landscaping projects but would like to have some polished. How would I go about doing polishing the stones

This is where you'll need professional help so I suggest you go and see the chap you'll have to meet sooner or later so you might as well meet him while you're standing up. This is the guy that makes grave stones. These folks know all there is to know about the various kinds of stone and can advise you far better than anyone else.
