Question:

I am replacing a single pane window and would like to put in two panes but not insulated glass. In order to prevent condensation, should I drill holes to the outside to provide the ventilation. The reason for going with this is that I already have the proper size glass to fit the opening.

Answer:

You're on the right track but don't forget to use non-corroding steel wool in the holes so ants and spiders , etc. don't get in there.
