Question:

I live in a cedar house. My problem is, during my pulling out the carpet in one bedroom, the next day it rained quite hard and the wooden floor started to get very wet. I caulked the sides of the window and the flashing on the roof(it was a corner window). It is still getting wet and I would like to know if I should caulk the top of the window also, and can you give me a name of any firm that can locate these types of leaks.

Answer:

In fairness to all, I stay away from recommending people and products but anyone dealing in windows should be able to help you.
