Question:

we have moved into a new house 1 1/2 years ago and most of the doors have started to squeak. are the hinges not aligned properly or too tight? help, it's getting anoying.

Answer:

Pull the hinge pins, wipe them off and then give them a light coat of petroleum jelly before putting them back in. That should do it for quite a few years.
