Question:
In the colder months I get mositure buildup on my windows. I'm in a newer home only 4 years old. I have a forced air gas furnace. I leave the fan on during the winter months figuring this should help but it doesn't. I also get a lot of moisture bulidup between the front door and the aluminum glass door. The top of the glass door has an aluminum piece going across the top to prevent water from coming thru the top. Air is allowed to ventilate thru the top of the door.
Answer:
Open all windows 1/16" and keep that ceiling fan pushing air downward at slow speed year 'round. After you notice the surface condensation leaving the windows, you can start closing them all the way but you should never reach a point where all the windows are completely closed; one should be open on each level of the house at all times.
