Question:

I am interseted in moving my main entrance door,which is presently facing to the side, on an angle so that it can be seen more clearly when you are looking at the front of our home.

Answer:

That shouldn't be a problem provided you open the wall so that a proper lintel can be installed and at least three studs on each side of the door besides the cripple jacks to support the lintel.
