Whenever it gets cold, my front door doesn't work. I need two hands to lock it, and sometimes that doesn't work. I have filed where the deadbolt goes in. It works for awhile, but then the problem returns.

You seem to be getting frost build-up inside the wall cavity around the door and the only thing that will help it is disassembly, replacement of insulation and vapour barrier, and then re-drywalling.
