I was wondering what I could do to keep my doors in my house open. They keep swinging halfway closed even though I open it all the way. Do I need to redrill the hinge holes?? Can I do this myself of do I need to hire a carpenter??

Draw the screws on the lower, jamb-side hinge plate out about an eighth of an inch and insert a small sheet of shoebox cardboard between the plate and the jamb before driving the crews back in. This should do the trick.
