Question:

we have a window built out from the wall.it is open to the weather only a thin piece of foam as insulation the floor is extremly cold. how would we go about building it in? it protrudes out about two feet. we can not connect a heating duct through the wall.

Answer:

You'll be better off to do a proper insulation job on it because blocking it off may cause all kinds of condensation problems that you are not really interested in dealing with.
