Question:

Im closing in some stud walls in the basement (drywalling) I have run regular wiring for lights etc.
Is there any code as does the wiring need to be extra shield or anything or can you just run it

Answer:

Your local power authority will tell you all about even what kind of wire to use when you apply for the necessary wiring permit. Codes vary from one jurisdiction to another.
