Question:

I have aluminum wiring in about 60% of my house. What is the best approach in providing a safe environment against electrical fires. We are thinking about rewiring the entire house. Is this necessary?

Answer:

You should have to do nothing of the sort. You might though, have a qualifed electrician in there on a regular basis (he'll tell you how often) and have the circuitry checked and verified as trouble-free.

In the interests of retaining credibility and in fairness to all, I cannot recommend prices, people nor companies for various projects.
