I am thinking to renovation the basement add a bathroom. The stud wall is already there from the original builder and it is all insulated. Before I putting any drywall up, I am adding some receptacles and planning to have an inspection. All the wiring and adding would it be a job for do-it-yourself?
Answer:
Depending on the jurisdiction you live in, wiring may very well be a DIY project. Be careful though because in some jurisdictions such as Ontario, you can do all your own work and get it inspected; in others you are under much restriction. A phone call to your local power authority will clear it all up.
