I had a ceiling fan installed in a cathedral ceinng in my newly renovated kitchen almost two year ago. I did not run it in the winter, and now when I start using it, it is very noisy. Is there anything I can or should do to eliminate or lessen the noise?
Answer:
Atmospheric 'dust' may have built up in the motor housing so a good cleaning is going to be a necessity. It could also be that just wiping off the tops of the blades would do the trick.
