This can't be good....but our ceiling mounted globe light fixture had about 2 inches of water trapped inside it. The light globe is only about 6 inches in diameter. We took it down and the water was yellowy orange. Where did it come from?

This drained out of the ceiling where you either have a serious condesnation problem or a leak in the roof above it. No, it is not good and should be addressed as soon as practicable.
