I am renovating a 14 by 7 kitchen and will update the lighting while in the process. I am most attracted to pot lights. ( probably 6 )The elctrician is suggesting a 5 inch recessed pot but I am most attracted to the look of a smaller 4" pot with hologin bulbs: the particular model i have seen has a swivel mount to change direction of light on one axis. The elctrician says that the light from these fixtures will be too spotty ie not spread out enough. What has your exerience been and what are the fincial considerations for these decisions.
The financial considerations depend very much on the depth of you pockets but the larger lamps will certainly give you more homgeneous lighting.
