I've been in a home for 20 years and I am planning to change the florecent light fixtures in the bathrooms. This will be my first attempt in doing this type of renovations. The current fixtures have been in the house since we bought it. My questions are: 1. when I remove the florecent fixtures will the wiring in the wall be ok for me to replace it with a wall mount type fixture, and 2. do I need to look at special type of light fixture to be able to replace the ones already in the bathroom.
Answer:
You should find that the wiring for the old fits the new very well indeed so go for it.
