Just wondering if you have any ideas of what to put over exterior plywood for the winter to keep the porcupines from chewing on it. They love plywood and will even go through siding to get to that nice munchy taste. A friend even has a plywood boat (homemade) with a coating of fiberglass and he or she attacked that. Any ideas outside of stucco and wire? Therre must be something you can get in a can and brush on. They love the taste of the production glues and binders.

About the only thing I've seen tried with any success was sprinkling moth balls in the area but I know that when a friend put the mothballs in front of his trailer tires for the winter, the porkies ate the backs and tops of the tires by March. I guess they don't mind being near it but they don't like standing on it while dining.
