Question:

Is there any way of keeping poplar roots away from the weeping bed runs short of dynamite?

Answer:

Dynamite is such a drastic measure; I prefer a bulldozer. Besides, dynamite would never reach the roots and they just keep coming back. Poplar is fast growing tree like willow and silver maple, etc. These trees, at 15 years of age, can feed from as much as 300 feet away; and they normally do.
