Question:

We have a cottage on the Ottawa River and we have flies(regular)on the East/South corner of the cottage (think Amytiville)maybe not that bad but darn close. What could be the cause and how to we get rid of them. My husband used a spray and it helped but they came back. None of the other cottages beside us have the problem. I hope you can help us.

Answer:

Thee appears to be something there that they like to eat and/or lay eggs in. It should not be hard to track that down and if you cannot, an exterminator will quickly point it out to you.
