Our home is almost 50 years old and very dusty inside. The soffits are vented,but, there are no roof vents. Would adding roof vents help me in any way to get rid of this problem. If my wife dusts the house, an hour later, you wouldn't know it was ever done.Since we moved in here 15 years ago, I have removed the old paneled walls and re-insulated the walls, put up new vapour barrier and put up drywall, all to no avail in getting rid of this dusr problem.

The dust has to originate somehwere within the living cavity and you'll have to trace that and deal with it.
