Question:

I applied a fall weed 'n' feed treatment, but am now considering expanding my flower beds and vegetable garden. Would it be safe in the spring? If not, how long until the herbicide is gone from the soil?

Answer:

This is something you need better information for than I can give you because I believe it will depend on the herbicide and its longevity both as an effective agent and as its residual impact(s). Determine what the herbicide is and then contact your local nursery.
