Question:

Purchased a new vanity from Montreal.Wooden trim above mirror fell off. It was held on with sticky double-tape. It fell down again 2 days after I pressed it back in place. No help from supplier. Can I use contact cement to put it back up with or without removing the tape? Vanity made in Italy.

Answer:

You shouldn't use contact cement on wood but wood glue would probably do it provided you took the tape off first and then used wood clamps until it sets.
